A message from one of our volunteers
“When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I found support from a peer support volunteer. Her own journey as a survivor gave me hope and comfort during a terrifying time. Now, almost 8 years later, I’m able to offer my support to women experiencing their own cancer challenges. The support, understanding, care and love exchanged by the women in the group is life-affirming. We all agree that we leave our meetings feeling lighter, knowing we have each other’s backs and can make the journey a little easier for one another.”
