“I love the exercise programs. I have done Yoga and Tai Chi–I have tried them all. And I love them all because you need to get out with other people who are going through the same thing as you are. They understand what you are talking about when you say ‘It was a bad day, it was a good day, and how could it have been such a bad yesterday if I feel fine today?”
-Marion Roeder, Member & Volunteer of HopeSpring
“Hopespring continues to be a vital resource to those of us struggling with the many varied effects of cancer has on our lives! The programs, practitioners & many supports offered are truly appreciated & make an enormous impact on assisting us through our cancer journeys. I cannot stress this enough.”

Words from our members
We are here to support you through every stage of your journey.
Diagnosis
The cancer journey typically begins with a diagnosis, which can be a shock and lead to many emotions, such as fear, anxiety, and uncertainty.
Treatment
Treatment options vary depending on the type and stage of cancer, and can include surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and/or immunotherapy.
Support
Cancer patients and caregivers may need support from family, friends, healthcare professionals and support groups throughout their journey.
Side effects
Cancer treatment can cause side effects such as nausea, fatigue, pain and hair loss.
Managing expectations
Cancer treatment can be a long and unpredictable process. Patients and caregivers may need to manage their expectations and adjust their goals and plans accordingly.
Follow up care
After treatment, patients typically undergo follow-up care and monitoring to detect any recurrence of cancer.
Beyond cancer treatment
Following cancer treatment, patients need ongoing support from loved ones and programs to navigate life after treatment. This support can help them embrace a new normal and maintain a healthy, fulfilling life.
